Welcome

Pam Lecky

Pam is an Irish historical fiction author writing historical crime and mystery for Avon Books UK, an imprint of Harper Collins and Storm Publishing. She is a member of The Historical Novel Society, The Crime Writers’ Association and The Society of Authors. She is represented by Thérèse Coen, at Susanna Lea Associates, London.

Having acquired a love of reading crime and historical fiction from her father at a very young age, she proceeded to gobble books until one day she realised she might like to write something herself.

Pam lives in North County Dublin, close to the sea, sharing her office (whether she likes it or not!) with two cats, Bertie (Bertie Wooster) and Pip (Pippin the hobbit, of course), and a mad doggie PA who goes by the name of Molly.

Earlier this year, Storm Publishing acquired the world rights to her popular Indie series, The Lucy Lawrence Mysteries. The first three books in the series, No Stone Unturned, Footprints in the Sand and The Art of Deception, will be republished this July with the fourth book, A Pocketful of Diamonds coming out in the autumn. She is very excited to be working with Storm Publishing and hopes that Lucy’s adventures will be brought to an even larger audience.

Pam’s WW2 espionage series, published by Avon Books UK, features Her Secret War, Her Last Betrayal, and The Last Letter from London, all of which are available wherever you buy your books.

Under a Lightning Sky, a standalone murder mystery set during the Blitz is slated for release on July 4th 2024. Meet DI Jamie Barton and DS Lyle as they try to unravel a suspicious death in Blitz-weary London.

Pam’s debut novel, The Bowes Inheritance, was shortlisted for the Carousel Aware Prize 2016, and longlisted by the HNS for its Indie Novel of the Year 2016.
